If you’re eligible, you can book a free water-saving audit at your property, fully funded as part of your local water efficiency programme and this audit is designed to help reduce water waste, lower utility bills, and support more efficient water use, with minimal disruption to you.
What To Expect
Every audit starts with a property visit, where we take a look at how water is used in your property and identify opportunities to save. What happens next depends on your property and your local scheme, but we’ll always explain everything clearly and keep you informed.

Free Water Audit
We visit your property to understand how you use water and identify simple ways to save.
Available depending on your local scheme.
Step Two
On the Day Improvements
During your water audit visit, we may install a water-saving device and fix minor leaks.
Available depending on your local scheme.
Visit Two (If suitable)
Control Flow Installation
If suitable, we will arrange a second visit to install a long- term Control Flow water saving solution.
You may not need to be present for this.Delivered by Control Flow Technologies Group as part of a water-saving programme.
How The Process Works
Visit 1 - Initial Property Assessment
A Control Flow representative will visit your property to:
- Check how you use your water day to day
- Measure water flow rates
- Inspect your water meter, where suitable
- Look for signs of minor leaks
- Share simple, practical tips to help you save water
This visit helps us understand your property and identify the most effective ways to reduce unnecessary water use.
On-The-Day Improvements (During Visit 1)
During your free water audit visit, we may also be able to:
- Install simple water-saving devices
- Fix minor leaks
This depends on your local scheme and the setup of your property. We’ll always explain what’s recommended before anything is done.
Visit 2 – Control Flow Installation (If Suitable)
If your property is suitable, we may recommend a Control Flow water-saving device. This is a discreet, long-term solution designed to reduce water use across the whole property.If required:
- A second visit will be arranged at a convenient time
- Installation typically takes 20–45 minutes
- In many cases, you may not need to be present for the installation
We’ll confirm all details with you in advance.
Please note that water-saving audits or installations for medium to larger business’s may take longer. You can contact our team directly to get an estimate of timings.
